Alan and I both share a great passion for animals, especially our dogs. Alan grew up with Boxers and I joined in when we were married. I grew up with numerous dogs. Many were from rescues and they were the best "champions at heart", I prefer to call them!

We began showing dogs in 1998 with our first male, Am/Can CH Sentry's T-Bone. This boy surpassed every expectation we had and went on to compete in the American Boxer Club Top 20 competition for 2000 and 2001. He is a multiple group winner and multiple BISS winner. We also enjoyed Westminster for two years with him, as well. We thank Kay Palade and Stan Flowers for a great specials career. T-Bone is 8 ½ and enjoying retired life in the middle of our bed!

That was it!! We were hooked!!

Maggie was next, CH Sentry's Angel Face. We let Maggie grow up for a while and Kay Palade decided to train her in the ring and have some fun! Maggie's first weekend out….WB! She finished very nicely and we're very proud of her. Maggie remains the Princess in the house and she's also 8 ½ now. Louie was next! (Am/Can CH Karizma Backatcha Touchstone.) When we saw Louie at ABC for the first time, we knew he was coming home with us! Kay finished Louie very quickly with 3 Majors. This boy just loves life! He's a great addition to our breeding program. Louie sired our next boxer bitch, Smarty (CH Royal Palms Smarty Pants). She is a multiple group winner and our current special. Guy Fisher finished her and started her career out nicely. Dawn Honaker has taken over and this team is just great! We co-own Smarty with Jack Bower and Gloria Bower. We're all very proud of her.

Now, the question we are most often asked, "How did you end up with a Poodle"?? While having Kay Palade handle most of our Boxers, we enjoyed many, many shows watching Boxers and Kay's Poodles. We fell in love with the breed and had to have one! Kay was kind enough to send us her pick black male. So along came Rio! (Am/Can CH Kaylen's I Believe At Boca) We had the pleasure of having Joseph Vergnetti show Rio to 4 major wins! Kay put his last single on him just before the Poodle Club Nationals, where he placed 2nd in the Bred-By Exhibitor Class. Rio is also a multiple Group winner. We have also had the pleasure of co owning CH Kaylen's Repeat Performance, a beautiful black standard male with Kay. "Pete" has become a BIS dog in Germany where he lives with his new family.

Thanks for stopping by and we hope to see you at a show soon!
